Nivalis Delayed To 2025, New Trailer Shows More Of Its Stunning Cyberpunk City

Nivalis, the cyberpunk slice-of-life life sim and restaurant management game won’t be ready for 2024, publisher 505 Games announced. The game, developed by Ion Lands, is now targeting a Spring (Q2) 2025 release window.

It’s not all gloom though, we got another new trailer that gives more glimpses of the titular city of Nivalis, the same voxel-based city that was the setting of Ion Lands’ previous game, Cloudpunk.

While Cloudpunk has you play as a courier delivery person, Nivalis lets you live life in the slow lane of this the neon-lit city. You’ll start with a noodle stand to manage, and grow your business from there. Along the way, you will meet the various folks that call this city home. The first-person game includes apartment decoration, fishin, and travel by train.

The new trailer drops more hints of story as narrated by Ava, one of the many characters players will encounter in Nivalis.

“Ion Lands’ highest priority is to ensure that Nivalis provides the best possible experience for the player and the team appreciates the patience and support they have received from the ever-growing community as Ion Lands navigate through this creative journey,” the press release from 505 Games reads.

The publisher isn’t framing this as bad news- no tweets of a yellow image with text to be seen from their socials. So let’s let the developers cook longer, so to speak.

Nivalis is now slated for release in Spring (Q2) 2025 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store)
