Red Dead Online has a new update, now live. The update adds a new Frontier Pursuit that expands on the Trader specialist role: you can go be a moonshiner.
For the uninitiated, moonshiners produce and distribute booze, most likely illegal.
As an expansion of the Trader role, you will need to reach Rank 5 and complete one Trader Sell mission before the business opportunity to pivot from trading posts to smuggling alcohol becomes available.
Running a shine trade will need you to buy property for a moonshine Shack- five available to choose from. From there, you have to run the business. From picking the right time to sell and craft new blends of liquour.
The Moonshiner role also includes new Story Missions for solo play and co-op with your posse.
The update also brings a new battle pass- Outlaw Pass Vol. 2 with 100 ranks of rewards to grab. The update also adds new clothing, a new Benefits page to collect rewards, and quality of life adjustment like a quick-swap for weapons by tapping the weapon wheel button.
Red Dead Online, part of Red Dead Redemption II, is out now on PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Rockstar Launcher) and Xbox One.
