For the gamers in Malaysia who know ball—basketball—but have yet to own a PS5, this news is for you. The upcoming basketball game NBA 2K26 by 2K and developer Visual Concepts, comes in a new PS5 console bundle.
The NBA 2K26 PS5 Console Bundle includes the PS5 (slim, with disc drive), a DualSense controller and a digital copy of NBA 2K26 Standard Edition. The bundle includes a disc drive, but you’re not going to use it for the game included.
In Malaysia, the NBA 2K26 PS5 Console Bundle retails at RM2,499, essentially the same price of a normal PS5. If you know ball, this is fantastic deal—you’re saving RM319 should you buy a new PS5 and grab the game separately.
If you know someone who are interested in basketball in this part of the world, which is non-zero but certainly a niche crowd amongst sports-goers here, let them know on this PS5 bundle, get them to understand it now how much of a steal, short dribble and into an easy slam dunk of a deal this is.
NBA 2K26 is the latest of the annual basketball game featuring the full roster of the NBA and WNBA. This year’s entry boasts multitude of improvements in the court, and a marketing campaign that will remind sports-goers of a different sports game from more than 25 years ago (shoutout to FIFA 98) due to its use of Blur’s Song 2.
The NBA 2K26 PS5 Console Bundle will launch on September 12 in Malaysia as well as in Singapore and Thailand, the same day of the release of another 2K-published title, Borderlands 4.
NBA 2K26 will launch a week earlier, September 5, on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
