Just Cause 4 has a new gameplay trailer. The open world mayhem familiar to the series just got even more interesting thanks to the addition of tornadoes. The tornado is as destructive as you would expect, pulling out parts from destructible buildings and vehicles towards its cyclone, leaving destruction in its wake.
The gameplay video shows protagonist Rico chasing one of these tornadoes before heading to Wind Cannons “that are holding the tornado at bay”. Seems like man-made natural disasters are a thing.
Also, the video shows a new weapon unlike any of Rico’s previous arsenal- a railgun. Each new weapon now has an alternate fire. For the railgun, the alternate fire deploys a drone that can support you in combat and in traversal, it can be a grapple point.
Let’s hope the framerate can keep up with the massive destruction taking place this time.
Just Cause 4 will be out on December 4th on the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
