If you felt like the usual announcements of new games coming to Game Pass has been running late this month, you’re not wrong. But now we know why Xbox was holding on this late to reveal the latest batch of games coming (and leaving) Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, for late January 2023.
The reason was to wait until Hi-Fi Rush was released. This is a new rhythm action game from Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within, Ghostwire Tokyo) that was announced just now at the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, only to announce it’s out now. Or as the folks call it, a shadowdrop.
Other than that, notable additions include GoldenEye 007, the return of the classic Nintendo 64 shooter and Inkulinati, the medieval 2D strategy game featuring bardcore.
