Overpass is a off-road racing, but you might not notice that by how fast your vehicles are in the game.
This is more of a thinking man’s racing game, if you will, where your tracks are uneven, off-road terrain filled with nooks and crevices. Yet it’s still a racing game as you are still judged by how fast can you finish the courses using real-life, licensed quads and buggies.
This gameplay video, Zordix Racing Development Director guided by Joakim Eriksson, shows you the many nuances of getting from point A to point B in Overpass. The Wildcat Sport LTD buggy has a differential, which you can activate to get the buggy drive all four wheels with equal power. Handy when you need that extra power to get over a hump.
As heard in the trailer, it’s okay to not get the fastest time on the first go. Use the first attempt to learn the layout and then figure out which is the best route to go.
Overpass will be out on February 27th for the PS4, PC (Epic Games Store) Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
