Crimson Desert is the next flagship title of South Korean MMO developers Pearl Abyss. Revealed at G-Dragon last year, is described as an open-world adventure game about a band of mercenaries surviving in the continent of Pywel, and will be powered by a new, proprietary next-generation game engine.
Crimson Desert has a new teaser trailer teasing some symbols: a wolf, an owl, and a deer. These are described as “symbolically represents the entwined relations of the many in-game regions trying to write a new history of their own.”
However, expect a more substantial look on Crimson Desert coming soon. A new gameplay video will debut at The Game Awards 2020. The annual game award show always have world premier reveals, and it’s nice to see that Pearl Abyss is getting a chance for a big stage reveal.
The Game Awards 2020 will be happening on December 10, 7PM ET (December 11, 8AM Malaysian Time, +8 GMT), live on all major streaming services.
