A new update for Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon is available, and it’s a regulation update. This means this is a balance patch.
But no need to panic. Unlike last time where the balance patch has nerfed various weapons, this patch, Regulation Update 1.04.1, is mostly introducing buffs to what are probably lesser used weapons and frame parts.
The myriad of bomb launchers, from the Kyorai napalm bomb launcher to the super-situational Kyoriku jamming bomb launcher get some minor stat improvements.
Even the mighty Karasawa rifle, or as it known in this game as the KRSV, gets a minor buff in the form of increased total rounds. The rifle is crazy-strong but is gimped by its low ammo count, which this balance patch is addressing.
Plasma missile launchers, the Vvc-703PM and Vvc-706PM, have been reduced in weight and EN load, likely to make it more attractive for use in builds.
As for frame parts, a good selection of arms now have an increase in Melee Specialization and Firearm Specialization. Some parts get decreased EN Load and Weight, which are buffs.
