Armored Core VI Regulation Update 1.03.1 Brings A Long List Of Balance Changes (Including Zimmerman Nerf)

A new update has dropped for Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon and it’s the update fans, especially Zimmerman and Songbirds enthusiasts, has been dreading for.

Regulation Update 1.03.1 brings a long, long list of balance changes, which includes buffs and nerfs for various AC parts.

The elephant in the room, the Zimmerman shotgun and the Songbirds grenade launcher, has been hit by nerfs.

The balance changes affected 34 weapon units, 57 frame parts, 16 inner parts and two expansion parts. That’s 109 parts affected by the new patch.

Here are a quick glance of other changes we discovered from reading the patch notes:

  • Handguns, needle gun buffed with more total rounds
  • Linear rifles have shorter charge shot time
  • Bazooka projectiles fire faster, faster reloads
  • Grenade launchers’ grenades explode upon reaching Effective Range
  • Aperitif Siege Hand Missile nerfed with longer reloads, less Guidance
  • Dual Missiles get buffed in general
  • Active Homing missles track faster
  • Trueno Needle Missile nerfed with less Guidance
  • Laser Orbit and Laser Turret buffed
  • Head parts in general get more buffs than nerfs (mostrly in system recover increase)
  • A lot of arm parts get more recoil control
  • A lot of boosters gets increased Upward Thrust
  • Longer Terminal Armor duration
  • Pulse Protection can take more hits
  • Boost Kick nerf across all leg types except Reverse Joint type
  • Boost Speed rates adjusted
  • ACS (stagger) recovery now affected by total weight, Lighter ACs can recover faster
