Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin is the sequel to the Nintendo 3DS Monster Hunter spin-off game where it’s a turn-based RPG.
The sequel is getting a demo coming to Nintendo Switch ahead of release to give you a taste of what the game is all about, but also will be available on PC.
The trial version for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin will be available starting June 25 on Switch and July 9 on Steam.
This trial version is essentially the opening portions of the game, and progress can be transferred over to the full game.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin has you taming monsters to become your Monstie which acts as a party member alongside you. As the name of the series implies, the draw is of the story, on how these people that are not Monster Hunters live alongside the monsters.
There will also be free title updates planned post-launch. One of which lets you turn a Palamute (the cute doggo companions alongside a Palico you get in Monster Hunter Rise) to become a Monstie, and join you in battle.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin will be released on July 9 for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
