The second of two parts of the Caves & Cliffs update for Minecraft now has a release date. Part II of Caves & Cliffs will be adding new terrain generation, which will see more elaborate cave systems and higher peaks, mountains and cliffs, appearing in the procedural world of the block-building survival game.
In addition, a new light source is added, candles.
However, archaeology, bundles and goat horns will not be coming with this update. As the Minecraft blog post puts it, these features are on hold, not even for the next Wild update. So don’t hold your breath to see them coming soon.
The Caves & Cliffs update was split into two rather than having all the content delayed. The first part includes all the new blocks and mobs.
The Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update will arrive on November 30 for all platforms.
