Besides last week’s showcase of the Paul Ricard circuit, Codemasters did also release a post E3 blog about Game Director, Lee Mather’s time at Los Angeles and officially showed us a preview of a new character that players could interact with in the game’s Career mode.

So the picture above is said to be the new Data Engineer named Carl, who would be making your racing much easier (or harder) thanks to his data analysts on and off the track. This picture also shows a new part of the game’s Hub world call “The Data Room”, where presumably, Carl would be all the time.
The other new character is tied with the new Interview mechanic the game is adding in and sadly, it is not the usual F1 Commentator of David Croft or even the new interviewer, Will Buxton, doing them.

Thanks to Spanish site Atomix.vg, we get to see a first look at the game’s Interviewer character which determines where you sit within a team’s good or bad side, it going to be interesting to see how this works as we haven’t really seen a preview of the revamped mechanics yet.
Along with the new French GP track, Hockenheimring is also returning to the track selection after a year absent, with some additional new classic cars, Like the Brawn BGP 001, a car that is legendary to fans of F1.

We really can’t wait to play this game and it will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC this August 24. The wait begins.
