Take A Look At The New Track That’s Replacing Sepang In The F1 2018 Game

The French GP at Circuit Paul Ricard

F1 2018 the game from Codemasters is still coming along and now we have another trailer for a new track in the calendar, Circuit Paul Ricard for French Grand Prix.

With the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang ending last year, the F1 calendar for 2018 added one more Grand Prix, so this is basically the track that is replacing Sepang. It’s a technical track with a very long straight and swooping corners on a very , very flat surface. The track has multiple layouts that is not closed of and instead of having grass and gravel traps, the track uses abrasive surface, which forms the blue and red lines outisde of the many corners.

Watching the Grand Prix this weekend has proven confusing for some due to all this, and driving it in the game will certainly be a challenge.

To talk through the new track reveal, this time we have all the three French drivers- Esteban Ocon, Romain Grojean and Pierre Gasly- to give it a try. Carlos Sainz, driving for French works team Renault is also there, sharing some history of when him and Gasly last raced on the track in the lower open wheel series.

In other news, F1 2018 will have a feature to turn off the middle post of the halo in 2018 F1 cars as an option.

No release date has been set just yet, but it will surely be released this year for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
