Lego Builder’s Journey Now Has Over 10 Million Players After Epic Game Store Freebie

Developer Light Brick Studio announced that their game Lego Builder’s Journey has passed 10 million players.

Over seven million of that came from the Epic Game Store’s 15 Days of Christmas giveaway.

Still, even without that freebie deal, there are still millions of players that have gone through the chill diorama puzzles made out of Lego bricks and pieces that the game offers.

Alongside the milestone announcement, Light Brick Studio also revealed that the Xbox Series X|S version will be getting ray tracing effects in an update that should arrive on March 7. The game will also be on sale, 50% off, for a limited time on Xbox as part of the Family Time Sale.

Ray tracing effect was previously implemented on PS5 in a past update. And the PC version was one of the earlier games to adopt real-time ray tracing.

Lego Builder’s Journey shares a tale delivered in Lego dioramas on a smaller scale, characters are made of one-stud-wide pieces rather than minifigs. It’s a short but sweet puzzler, and really goes hard on real-time ray-tracing effects for the platforms that support it.

Lego Builder’s Journey is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
