King Of Fighters XV has been consistently getting character reveals after character reveals, so much that we’ve decided to wait until they reveal a full team to cover them.
The new team reveal is a return of characters last seen in KOF 2002. Chris, Yashiro Nakase and Shermie are back again as Team Orochi.
The C in the rock group C.Y.S. (and also the Four Heavenly Kings Of Orochi) is Chris. The androgynous vocalist isn’t trained in martial arts, but he’s one tricky fighter from the looks of the reveal trailer.
Next is the Y in C.Y.S.: Yashiro Nanakase. The lead guitarist has reincarnated himself again to enter the King Of Fighters tournament alongside his bandmates.
Lastly, we have Shermie. The lead keyboardist (and also a fashion designer) fights with pro wrestling moves. So be ready to crush enemies with her thighs. And throws.
Team Orochi will be the big rivals against Team Sacred Treasures, story-wise.
So far there are 15 character reveals and three full-team of three has been revealed. Expect to see the latest entry of this 3-on-3 fighting game to has a massive roster straight on launch. And thankfully, they all look much better than the undercooked KOF XIV.
King Of Fighters XV is coming out later this year.
