Kerbal Space Program 2 Gets New Gameplay Trailer As Early Access Launch Imminent

Intercept Games is ready to launch the next Kerbal Space Program into Early Access this week. And what better way to get folks excited about building rockets that may or may not be able to reach outer space than with a gameplay trailer.

It’s a short trailer, with many cuts and splices so it’s more to give you a glimpse of the exciting possibilities that this rocket science and space flight sim can do. Over 350 new parts for crafty builders and aspiring NASA applicants can use to build their space-faring ship to lead the Kerbals to places where no Kerbals have gone before.

As it’s an Early Access title, expect more updates to come with more features. Tech tree progression, the ability to create space colonies, a whole new star system, and multiplayer are part of the roadmap for KSP2. This week’s launch should be the tip of the iceberg.

Originally developed by Squad, the original KSP was a phenomenon that inspired more people into learning rocket science and physics. It’s one of the first titles that Private Division picked up upon its inception.

KSP2 was first announced back in 2019, that’s about four years ago, and had quite the development journey, to say the least. The game is set for its Early Access launch on February 24 on PC via Steam.
