KartRider Drift Season 1 Hits The Road On All Platforms With Porsche, MapleStory Collab

KartRider Drift has officially launched on all platforms- that includes PlayStation and Xbox. And that also signals the start of Season 1 of the free-to-play kart racer by Nexon.

Two big collabs have been announced for the season. The first, KartRider X Porsche, will see cars by the illustrious brand from Stuttgart available as karts.

The Porsche 718 Boxster is unlocked by simply logging in, while the Porsche Macan GTS is unlocked at level 30 of the racing pass.

The main supercar under the Porsche brand, the 911 Turbo S, will arrive on March 16.

In addition, two characters from MapleStory, another Nexon IP, will be arriving sometime during Season 1.

Season 1 of KartRider Drift includes eight new tracks, Item Grand Prix and Speed Grand Prix modes, new karts and cosmetics plus a new racing pass (the battle pass equivalent), which as expected has a normal and premium tier.

Kart Upgrades are also added with the Season 1 update, plus new log-in rewards and daily events.

KartRider Drift launched in pre-season first on PC and mobile. Season 1 brings the console versions into the mix. The game supports cross-play and cross-save (cross-progression) across all platforms.

Interestingly, KartRider Rush+, an already existing mobile game from the save devs, will remain in operation but exists independently as its own standalone title.

KartRider: Drift is now available on PlayStation, PC (Steam, Nexon Launcher), Xbox and mobile (iOS, Android).
