Judgment’s English Release Still On Track Despite Requiring An Unexpected Character Change

Drugs are really bad in Japan

Judgment, the Yakuza spin-off by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, got hit with a controversy in Japan as actor Pierre Taki, who lends his voice and likeness to the character Hamura in the game, is now under arrest for drug charges.

This prompted Sega to halt the sales of the Japanese version, called Judge Eyes, to replace the actor and his likeness out of the game.

Despite that, Sega of America has reassured that the English release of Judgment is still on track as scheduled. Though Hamura will see some changes.

Judgment will still be releasing on June 25th for the PS4, with dubs and subs.
