Yakuza spin-off Judgment is coming to next-gen consoles this April. And to Stadia.
Judgment is set in modern-day Kamurocho (the primary setting of the Yakuza games) but stars a completely different protagonist, ex-lawyer and now private detective Tak Yagami, as he uncovers a murder case.
Judgment features the familiar beat-’em-up combat but also adds more stealth and investigation mechanics not seen in past game by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. With a separate storyline with no connection to the Yakuza games. There is also an English dubs available as well as subs with Japanese audio.
The next-gen (and Stadia) editions will run at 60fps, visual improvements and includes all past DLCs.
Unfortunately, as reported by RPG Site, there will be no next-gen upgrade for existing owners of the PS4 version. There are no plans for a PC release either.
Judgment releases on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Stadia on April 23.
