JDM: Rise Of The Scorpion Updated With New Licensed Cars, Online Leaderboards, More

JDM: Rise Of The Scorpion, the free prologue to JDM: Japanese Drift Masters, has been updated again. And it’s not just a few bug fixes, this is content update.

The game has added three more licensed cars into prologue game, and they are some good picks. They are:

  • Mazda RX8
  • Mazda MX-5 (NA)
  • Subaru BRZ II

A Miata with the pop-up headlights? Excellent pick for this drift game. No Nissan cars though, but they will be in the game.

JDM: Rise Of The Scorpion also adds online leaderboards in Challenge Mode. The leaderboard is divided between grip and drift challenges.

Also, the update also adds support for more sim racing hardware. This includes new presets for the Moza R5 steering wheel, and support for the HGP Shifter and HBP handbrake.

JDM: Rise Of The Scorpion is a standalone free prologue for JDM: Japanese Drift Masters. JDM isn’t out yet, but developer Gaming Factory is teasing that news on that front will come soon.
