MindsEye, the “cinematic, AAA, story-driven action-adventure thriller” by Leslie Benzies’ new developer team Build A Rocket Boy, has picked up a publisher. And it’s the team behind Hitman, IO Interactive.
IO Interactive has established a new third-party publishing arm, IOI Partners. This publishing deal between IOI Partners and Build A Rocket Boy will see the former provide publishing services which includes marketing, localisation, distribution, QA and game support.

Leslie Benzies is one of the creatives behind GTA Online, and his new team is making the ambitious “multi-world” game Everywhere and also a more GTA-adjacent game in the form of MindsEye.

MindsEye follows the story of Jacob Diaz, a former soldier looking to find the secrets of his past in a near-future Americana setting where threats of AI, corporate espionage and militarisation looms. The game promises “an immersive experience with a mind-bending and compelling narrative, rich environments, groundbreaking combat, future tech, and high-speed chases”.
