Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor introduced the Nemesis System, a dynamic system that creates unique orc generals you face in the game that reacts to the world. This means that each player’s journey through the game will involve different encounters with the high-level orcs and they too will change and adapt according to your actions.
Now what if your strongest and most hated Nemesis returns for the sequel Shadow Of War? Warner Bros. announced that you can now import them to Shadow Of War. This is done by the Nemesis Forge, a new feature to Shadow Of Mordor available in the latest update. Should you have completed the game, it will automatically select to import. Your most loyal orc follower will be imported and join as an ally in Shadow Of War.
There is no confirmation whether this feature will work across platforms (say, play Mordor on PC and then War on PS4).
UPDATE 8/7/2017: According to the official livestream (link here) by developers Monolith, the Nemesis Forge only works within the same platform. It does support cross-platform transfers.
Shadow Of Mordor is free to play this weekend until July 9 on Steam and Xbox One. Additionally, the game is still selling on the cheap- just RM7.60 over on Steam. So if you haven’t play Shadow Of Mordor yet, this is the best time to do so.
