Hooded Horse To Publish Smithy Sim Blacksmith Master, Releasing Later This Year

Hooded Horse, the indie publisher of strategy, sims and RPGs has picked up its 20th game in its ever-growing portfolio. And it’s Blacksmith Master by one-person developer Untitled Studio.

The follow-up to Tavern Master, Blacksmith Master has you be in charge of running a smithy. And it’s not just about decorating the workshop and hiring the right people (which you do get to do), but the real fun comes from having to be in charge of a production chain.

You’ll have to get miners to gather the ores and jewels, and then have the ores turn into ingots while the jewels get sent to gem cutters. You’re not just producing tools and weapons, jewelry and glassware can also be made in your workshop, which will need to grow over time. The smiths can also grow over time in skills, where you can either have them dedicate time to a specific specialisation or have them be a jack-of-all-trades that can assist in any part of the production.

Blacksmith Master is expected to be released on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store later this year as an Early Access title.
