Bridge Constructor is appearing again with another licensed tie-in. And it’s just as weird of a brand mash-up as the previous Bridge Constructor: Portal.
In Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, you are tasked in building bridges in a post-apocalypse world filled with zombies. It’s quite the stretch to tie the AMC TV show to a bridge-making game, until you realised that Daryl- played by Norman Reedus on the TV Show – appears in this game too.
Reedus previously starred in Death Stranding as Sam Porter Bridges.
See, it does make some sense. And crazy to think that Reedus has appeared in a new game about bridges for two years in a row.
Joking aside, only Reedus’ likeness as Daryl appears here alongside other Walking Dead characters like Michonne and Eugene.
There are levels that play it straight where you build bridges to have a vehicle cross it. But there are also levels where you are on foot, which involves not only bridge-making, but also making traps and using moveable objects to your advantage as well. So there’s something new here that makes use of the license.
