Helldivers, Super Earth needs you. Arrowhead has dropped a big update on Helldivers 2, as revealed at The Game Awards 2024, which sees the arrival of the long-teased third enemy faction, the Illuminate. Fans of the original Helldivers should be intimately familiar with this faction.
With the new Omens Of Tyranny update, the battlefront now extends to urban centers among Super Earth’s colonies. The enemies are right at our doorstep, and it’s time to take them out.
Alongside that, there’s now a Fast Recon Vehicle (FRV) that you can summon. It has seating for four, so now you can quickly travel across the map. Passengers can lean out and take shots with their weapons.
As for the driver? I hope you know how to drive stick. It only comes in manual transmission. Arrowhead is at it again with its devious but welcomed design tricks.
