Remember Rayman? Thankfully Ubisoft does too, as we get to see him in the trailer for Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope’s third DLC.
The DLC, Rayman In The Phantom Show, will see the iconic hero with floating limbs teams up with Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario. The trio discover the Space Opera Network, an old TV Studio now run by familiar antagonist The Phantom whose now the studio director.
Rayman In The Phantom Show is a side story that is completely seperated from the main plot, and it looks like Rayman isn’t meeting Mario or any of the Nintendo gang. He’s just here vibing with the Rabbids.
Rabbids were introduced in Rayman Raving Rabbids as mere antagonists, but have exceeded the popularity of Rayman ever since. And now we have Rayman playing a small part of a major Rabbids game. How the tables have turned.
If you’re fond of Ubisoft’s former mascot, The Rayman In The Phantom Show DLC is releasing on August 30. It can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass which includes two other DLCs.
