There’s no release date for Halo Infinite, Xbox’s big Xbox Series launch game that has now been delayed. But there is another big news: the multiplayer will be free-to-play for all.
Halo’s ground-breaking multiplayer, which paved the way to the popularity of online gaming on consoles, will be free to all players on Xbox and PC. It looks like you expected, but now with some extra gadgets at play like the grappling hook that we first saw in the last Halo Infinite reveal. Expect some fancier skill shots made with the help of this.
Halo Infinite is already teasing what the first season of multiplayer content, including a Yoroi Spartan to turn your solider into a samurai.
Halo Infinite, and Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer, is still set for release later this year.
