The doctor is in the house, but this time it’s a nightmare. The enigma doctor Faust joins the Guilty Gear Strive character roster, as the previous trailer teased, and his trailer debuted at Frosty Faustings XII 2020 recently.
Faust gets a totally different look. Rather than a jokey-looking practitioner with a bag on his head, he is now a towering nightmare fuel with more wicked animations than before. He now has more in common with the original Guilty Gear’s resident doctor, Dr. Baldhead.
He also can give his opponents afro hair-dos.

No new daredevil appeared at the end of this trailer. Though, expect at least one new trailer to drop during the weekend of March 20th-22nd when Brussels Challenge in Brussels, Belgium and Final Round in Atlanta, USA, takes place. So expect new characters to drop there, most likely.
Guilty Gear Strive is the sequel to Guilty Gear Xrd, but with some major system changes to the fighting game. So far, the confirmed characters are all returning favourites, they are:
- Sol Badguy
- Ky Kiske
- May
- Potemkin
- Chipp Zanuff
- Axl Low
- Faust
There is at least one all-new character coming to the roster.
Guilty Gear Strive will be out sometime later this year.
