Arc System Works’ breathtakingly beautiful fighting game Guilty Gear Strive now has a launch date. The title was planned for a 2020 release, but has been delayed to 2021.
Now, we have a release date, and it’s also coming to PS5.
The release date trailer also teases its long-running story mode, which now has fully animated cutscenes.
As for the roster, it will have 15 characters at launch. The recent Guilty Gear official livestream revealed 13 characters- the latest being an all-new character, Giovanna. She has a spirit dog (or a dog Stand) which she fights with.
Guilty Gear Strive launches on April 9, 2021 for the PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam). Or three days earlier if you buy the more expensive editions of the game.
