Hit ’em with a trickshot or two, as the next daredevil to join Guilty Gear Strive’s roster has arrived.
Returning character Venom is well alive and his arrival is on cue, as he’s now available in the fighting game for Season Pass 4 purchasers.
Venom the assassin is supposed to be dead. What you’re seeing here, despite spotting a familiar hairstyle with that iconic insignia on it, is supposed to be another person. One who fashions himself as a “Phantom”. And apparently he’s now a baker. And covers his torso with his choice of apparel.
Like a master of billiards, Venom is a tricky character that thrives in well put together setups, throwing a floating projectile in the form of a billiards ball while doing jump-ins or other moves for that 50-50 mixups.
The new gameplay trailer also gives a glimpse of Roby-Ky.
Season Pass 4 for Guilty Gear Strive includes Queen Dizzy, Venom and upcoming newcomers Unika (a new character based on the Guilty Gear Strive Dual Rulers anime series) and Lucy (from Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners anime series). Anime characters are coming to this sort-of anime fighter.
Guilty Gear Strive is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on Switch.
