Codemasters has finally showcase the date for their latest entry in the GRID series, GRID Legends, with a rather unfortunate release timing within two big titles.
The racing title will be launching on February 25, which coincidentally is the release date for the highly anticipated Elden Ring. Not to mention that the game will also be a week way from the other anticipated racing title, Gran Turismo 7 on March 4.
Few new additions that have been confirmed by the dev team, one of which is the Crossplay feature. That will be available from launch and is a first within the Codies catalogue to feature real time racing with other platforms.
They are also focusing on the story aspect even more with additional story campaigns that might flesh out the racers you’ll meet in the game’s ‘Driven to Glory’ storyline.
Why Codemasters and EA are choosing to release this title within this specific time-frame is peculiar but hopefully, their sales pulls through before the inevitable GT7 hype takes over.
GRID Legends will be out on February 25, 2022, for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
