Grapple Dog Swings To Release On February 10

Grapple Dog is a 2D pixel-art platformer about Pablo, a dog who happens to have a grappling hook. The game, by Medallion Games, is the first of five games signed under new indie publisher Super Rare Originals.

The publisher has announced a release date for its first game, and it’s in the busy release month of February.

Grapple Dog has a slick look and sound, 33 levels across 6 worlds, and all the features you expected from a 2D platformer. You have bosses, secret areas, hidden collectibles and bonus levels as you go on your adventure to defeat robotic overlord Nul.

The grappling hook is the true game-changer here, letting you traverse the levels with more freedom than your regular platformer. The game will have a Time Trial mode for the hardcore speedrunners, and accessibility options for players who just want to have fun their way.

Grapple Dog will be out on February 10 for the PC and Nintendo Switch.
