Gran Tursimo Sport Monthly Content Update For September Adds Fuji Speedway And Nine New Cars

That was quick.

The new monthly content update for Gran Turismo Sport has arrived. By the time you are reading this, the 1.28 update sized at 3.366GB will be available to download.

Fuji Speedway is the star of the update. The track overlooks Mt. Fuji has a really long pit straight. The current layout as used in Super GT races also has a swooping corners and a tight last sector.

The nine new cars, as teased in the silhouettes are:

  • Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 ’65 (Gr.X)
  • BMW M3 GT (BMW Motorsport) ’11 (Gr.3)
  • Mazda RX500 ’70 (N300)
  • Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster ’60 (N300)
  • Honda NSX Type R ’92 (N300)
  • Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX TwinTurbo 2 seater (Z32) ’89 (N300)
  • Porsche 911 GT3 (996) ’01 (N400)
  • Porsche 911 GT3 (997) ’08 (N400)
  • Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe ’06 (N500)

The Alfa joins the growing list of classic racers that may worth millions of in-game credits. The BMW M3 makes the marque the first to have three Gr.3 cars, joining the M6 and the Z4. All four cars we first saw at the Gran Turismo World Tour event at Salzburg, Austria also joins the list.

Gran Turismo continues to be updated after its launch in October last year. The promise was to see the 150+ car count to grow to 500 via updates, and it looks like they are still working on reaching that target.
