Gran Turismo Sport’s Monthly Update For August Adds Red Bull Ring And Eight More Cars

The monthly content update for Gran Turismo Sport is still going well. For August, we will be getting the Red Bull Ring, home of the Austrian Grand Prix. The short but fast track should be a fun drive, featuring both the full course and the short version.

While we did not see any car silhouettes being tease this month, this update will be adding eight of them. They are:

  • Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67
  • Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé ‘64
  • Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
  • Abarth 500 ‘09
  • Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 ‘52
  • Volkswagen 1200 ‘66
  • Mini-Cooper ‘S’ ‘65
  • Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Evoluzione ‘91

So there’s three classic, small (but iconic) cars, a stock version of a rally legend, another small car, one car from a tuner brand and two classics with racing pedigree. It’s a little bit of everything but nothing too crazy.

The update also comes with new events for GT League, more Scapes location, more museum content, a tool to test your internet connection and an archive to view rankings from previous seasons of the FIA Nations Cup and Manufactures Series.

The update, at 4.116GB, should be live by now. Servers will be back online by 2PM Malaysian time (+8 GMT).
