The previously teased monthly update for Gran Turismo Sport has now arrived. This is by far the most interesting content addition since the cars that were added have yet to appear in the series. Plus we have a new track added.
Of the 13 new cars, three of them are, as heavily rumoured for so long, are Super GT cars. The Honda NSX, Nissan GT-R and Lexus RC F are the three cars that competed in the GT500 class- a more powerful standards compared to the GT300 class equivalent to the FIA GT3 class (and Gr.3 in GT Sport). As such, these three cars occupy the new Gr.2 class.
For road cars, the BMW M3 E30 finally debuts to the series. Joining it is the Aston Martin DB11, two Nissan GT-Rs- the Skyline R33 and Nissan GT-R Nismo completes the family. The Mazda RX-7 FC is also added to complement the FD RX-7.
Here’s the full car list:
- Lexus au TOM’S RC F ‘16 (Gr.2)

In addition, a new track will be added, Tsukuba Circuit. The compact but technical track made its debut in Gran Turismo 4 and due to its herritage with hosting JGTC- now Super GT- events, makes a perfect fit for inclusion. Now we just need Twin Ring Motegi and Fuji to be added back, and a few more circuits to replicate the full experience inside the game.
The free update also adds VR time trials, new Scapes and new events for GT League. It will be live on 29th March. Servers will be down for update from 6 to 8AM UTC (2-4PM Malaysian time) so it would be out really soon from the time you are reading this.
