Capcom now has a date for the new release of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. This was originally a Nintendo DS game released in 2010, created by Shu Takumi who also made the Ace Attorney series.
The new release, which interestingly isn’t being marketed as any sort of remaster, will include higher-resolution graphics and new features.

At the Capcom Spotlight broadcast, the latest info revealed is the game’s soundtrack getting a new arrangement. All 37 tracks from the soundtrack have been rearranged by Yasumasa Kitagawa- who also did The Great Ace Attorney soundtrack. If you’re a fan of the OG soundtrack, however, that is still available and you can change between the two. Plus, a new music track composed by original composer Masakazu Sugimori will be added to this new release.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective follows the story of Sissei as he investigates a murder. And the murder victim is himself. In one night, he must figure it all out, using the power of “ghost” and “trick” to do so. And find out who he was to land into such a predicament, head down booty up, in the first place.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will be released for the PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One, and Switch on June 30. Pre-orders are now live on digital platforms.
