GameStart Asia has been the premier gaming convention at Singapore. They are now five years running, with last year attracting over 24,000 attendees.
Today the organisers have again announced the dates for its 2018 edition, scheduled to be held in Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. Mark your calendars for the 13th and 14th October.
The premier fighting game tournament in Southeast Asia, the SEA Major, will also return and be held within GameStart, featuring tournaments for Street Fighter V Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Tournaments for Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and the cult favourite non-fighting game that is famous within the fighting game community, Windjammers, will also be there.
In addition, GameStart Asia will be expanding this year with another convention to be held in Indonesia. No dates or location has been announced just yet, but seeing the convention expanding is certainly a sign of continual success from the organisers.
