Gamescom Asia is finally happening. The new satellite event from organisers Koelnmesse, the folks behind the biggest gaming trade show in Europe Gamescom, will finally be happening starting today, October 14-17 in Singapore.
Originally planned to start last year, the pandemic has caused the first Gamescom Asia to only happen this year, as a hybrid event with on-site meetings available for B2B and online live streams for the rest of the gaming community.
Gamescom Asia will have a 1-hour live show, Primetime, held on October 15, 8 PM-9 PM Singapore Time (+8 GMT).
Hosted by Victoria Cheng (ChubbyNinja), expect premiers of new games and trailers. If it’s on the level of Gamescom Opening Night Live level of reveals remain to be seen.

From October 16-17, there will be two days full of live streams available from “The Entertainment Zone” with sessions by AMD, TikTok, Electronic Arts, Hooded Horse Inc, Earthshine, Secret 6, and Lentera Nusantara.
The trade show element of Gamescom Asia, for folks within the games industry, begins today until October 16 with three different conferences (Games360, Mobile Gaming Summit, and UNconference).
Panels, keynotes and technical dialogues from Riot Games, Take-Two Asia, Cygames, Microsoft Xbox Asia, Nintendo, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia, Square Enix, Google Play, and more will be happening. These sessions are available on-site as well as online.
