Flying Wild Hog, the developer known for the new releases of the Shadow Warrior series, is getting into the looter shooter genre with a new free-to-play game, Space Punks.
Published by Jagex, Space Punks will see 1-4 players traverse a weird universe as not-heroes in a quest for more guns and power. It’s a looter shooter essentially, but more like a Diablo than a Borderlands since it has a top-down perspective.
Remember the days when the original Borderlands is described as a Diablo-like before we sort-of settle down with a genre name of sorts? Now we’re describing what’s essentially closer to a Diablo-like as a looter-shooter.
Anyways, Space Punks is now available exclusively on PC via the Epic Games Store, in Early Access. And there are two different paid packages you can buy which includes a battle pass, as well a bunch of cosmetics. The “Founders Swag Pack” starts at RM51.49.
The free-to-play version is not available yet, so you need to pay to get into the Early Access version for now. So this is for people who are already sold on the premise and wants to not only play it now but help the devs by providing feedback.
