Free-To-Play Magical Battle Royale Spellbreak Gets First Seasonal Content On October 22

Spellbreak is the new free-to-play battle royale that uses magical abilities instead of guns, and it’s been doing pretty well since its launch.

Indie developers Proletariat has announced that it will be adding its first major update on October 22. Called Prologue: The Gathering Storm, this free update adds a 9v9 team (3 squads of three players per team) deathmatch mode called Clash Mode, and also new talents, potions and cosmetics. This seasonal content will also be the format on how Spellbreak delivers its story.

Spellbreak is out now on PS4 (but not on PS Store Asia), PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Switch, all for free.
