Free Fire’s Next Update Permanently Adds Desert Map Kalahari, New Character Steffie And A Training Mode

A new update to battle royale mobile game Free Fire on February 28th. The update adds the Kalahari desert map permanently to the game after proven popular when it was available in past events.

In addition, Free Fire is adding a new character, Steffie. A 23-year-old Professional Graffiti Artist, Steffie can create a graffiti spray that adds defense buffs in an area of effect. The buff will not only decrease bullet and explosion armour, it also won’t decrease armour.

Lastly, there’s now a training mode. Called Training Grounds, it lets you try out weapons and character skills in a safe area. But you are not alone here. Other players are around, and there’s potential to make friends and squad up within the mode. There is a shooting range for your usual target range practice and an exhibition zone where you can spar with other players and revive each other for as long as you like.

Sounds like a beefy update is coming. It will be available on February 28th. Free Fire is out now on iOS and Android.
