Garena’s Free Fire is kicking off its first flagship international tournament for 2020. The Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) will commence this weekend.
The FFCS is split into three regions (Americas, EMEA and Asia), each competing for a piece of the $300,000 USD prize pool. That’s for each region, so there’s $900,000 USD worth of prize pool for the whole of FFCS.
The tournament for the mobile battle royale game will have a Play-Ins to determine the final 5 spots for the main event. Malaysia’s AutoKnockout and Baby Argon, the second and third seeds, will be competing against other teams from Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Seven teams have already guaranteed their spot for the Finals, including Malaysia’s top seed Geek Fam.
