Forza Motorsport Update 12 Adds Challenge Hub, Spectate Mode, New Cars And More

Forza Motorsport is now updated with new features and another month of new car additions.

For Update 12, the racing game now adds a Spectate Mode for private multiplayer, enabling the league racing communities for the game to finally able to stream and broadcast their races. Some of the new additions to Spectate Mode are informed by feedback of tournament and league racing organisers. The new features inlcude:

  • Full-Field Dynamic Driver List and Lap Counter
  • Ticker (customisable dynamic data loop on the Driver List)
  • Track Map
  • Driver Data (car telemetry, damage, comparison to leader and more)
  • True Race Start/Race End (live feed updates from beginning of the race right until the final driver takes the chequered flag, unlike previous game)
  • Choose Default Spectate Camera
  • New Camera Options
    • Rail Cam
    • Point Of Interest
  • Improved Control Panel
  • Customizable HUD
  • Minimized Switch Lag
  • Saving Replay after Spectate

Forza Motorsport (2023) Update 12 also added Challenge Hub. This is basically the new way of earning reward cars every month.

Instead of having to do the single-player tours to unlock each reward car, players can now also complete a specific amount of races in Featured Multiplayer in specific hoppers to acquire them.

As such, players who prefer to race online won’t need to suffer through what they would consider a grind to access the new additions.

In addition, there will be weekly challenges within the challenge hub for rewards.

Forza Motorsport (2023) Update 12 New Cars – Mid-Engine Month

For September 2024, Forza Motorsport is highlighting the cool cars with engines mounted at the back but not behind the rear axle, which makes them mid-engines.

These cars are anything but mid, however. These are all desirable supercars that only the wealthy few in the world would own, drive and collect in real life. And thankfully gearheads all over can have a virtual taste of these engineering marvels.

These are new cars can now be earned either from completing the limited-time tour or by completing enough races in Featured Multiplayer.

  • 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
