Forza Horizon 5 Series 8 Now Live, New German Cars, Not Much More

A new series for Forza Horizon 5 has started today, signally a return to summer and four more weeks with a little bit of new content to unlock. The emphasis here is on little.

Series 8, German Automotive Excellence, is themed around celebrating cars made in Germany. But that’s about it.

No change to the map of Mexico, no new game update (in fact, most of the new cars have been added in the prior update that accompanied Series 7). After a big addition of five new cars to Forza Horizon 5, Series 8 is going lower with just three new cars, the lowest new car count introduced in the post-launch Series yet. There’s no dedicated Let’s Go livestream that previews the series. Instead, it was done two weeks ago as part of the Forza Monthly stream.

It’s still a good pick of three cars, though. You can earn the new Porsche 911 GT3 (this one is based on the new, wider 992 generation) next week starting June 2.

  • 2018 Audi RS 4 Avant – 20 points in Spring

Forza Horizon 5 Series 8 Car Pass Cars

The Car Pass schedule remains on track. Four new-to-Forza cars, all of them made in Germany, will be released each week throughout the season. The cars are the following:

  • 2020 Audi RS 3 Sedan – June 2
