A game update to Forza Horizon 5 has added some new content: more licensed music.
The new Horizon Wave radio station adds 11 new songs from the synthwave genre. So expect brooding synths and the sounds of the future from the ’80s, today.
If you’ve been scouring through YouTube for some of these songs, you’ll find uploads of some of these songs accompanied by imagery of cruising cars, which makes it all fitting for these to be in a car racing game. Lazerhawk, Mitch Murder and more are part of the tracklist.
Here’s the tracklist:

The last time Forza Horizon 5 added an entirely new radio station was alongside the release of the Rally Adventure expansion, where a dedicated station for punk and alternative music.
This addition comes alongside the latest series (season) of Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Retrowave. The open world racer is celebrating the retro future with new synthwave and retrowave decorations (how about purple and blue neon lights glowing through the long highway, to match that aesthetic) as well as the usual drop of new cars to earn.
The new series goes live later this week, but the update is live now, so give the new tracks a spin.
