Forza Horizon 5 Has More Than 10 Million Players In Its First Week Of Launch

Playground Games’ latest open-world racer Forza Horizon 5 has surpassed 10 million players in its first week of launch.

The official Forza Horizon Twitter revealed the major milestone.

An earlier tweet by Xbox head Phil Spencer has described the game’s launch as the “largest launch day for Xbox Game Studios game” with more than 4.5 million players on launch day (and close to a million before the launch day even).

It’s an impressive number, considering this is a racing game that is now a small niche in the mainstream big-budget console and PC games market. People do still like cars that go vroom, especially when done this well.

Forza Horizon 5 is out now on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
