Forza Horizon 4 New Update Adds Mitsubishi Cars, Removes Some Dancing Emotes

When it comes to racing games using licensed cars, there’s always a worry of a car marque not being available for some games. Porsche has been absent outside of Need For Speed games until recently, while Japanese manufacturers Toyota and Mitsubishi are quite absent in some current games. Like Forza Horizon 4.

Thankfully, a new free update will now add seven Mitsubishi cars that car lovers and gamers would have expected to see. Yes, the Evos are back!

Update 5 also adds free-for-all races for multiplayer (all races beforehand split players into two teams), a new Horizon Story where you drive a black cab and various seasonal events.

The Mitsubishi cars added are as follows:

  • 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR4
  • 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
  • 1997 Mitsubishi GTO
  • 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR
  • 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII MR
  • 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX MR
  • 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X GSR

Interestingly, the patch notes also listed that the Floss and Carlton dance emotes have been removed from the game. Several dance emotes are now a subject of legal battle related to Fortnite. The two dance emotes removed are part of such cases, which should explain the removal.

You can’t have your avatar floss dance on a waterfall anymore but hey, at least we are getting Evos. The update is live right now.
