Football Manager 26 Reveals Graphical Glow-Up For 3D Match Engine

Football Manager skipped an entire year, and we can now see why. The latest trailer for the upcoming Football Manager 26 is out, showcasing quite the graphical glow-up to the 3D match engine.

Football Manager 26 makes the switch to the Unity game engine and it shows with the higher fidelity in the 3D presentation of a football match. Various matches are showcased here to highlight the use of the Premier League license, which means accurate, licensed kits and team names will be used for th top flight of English football, something that PC players have to mod them in before this.

While FM26 looks graphically nicer compare to FM24 (check this video for a comparison), this is is not an EA Sports FC (despite the logos of that game appearing in this game might imply) or even an eFootball. Character faces are not as detailed, and the movement, while more fluid than before, isn’t matching other games depicting the beautiful game.

Still, it is a nice upgrade for the more casual fans who prefer to see the match highlights in 3D.

Football Manager 26 is now available to wishlist. Football Manager 26 has no release date but is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) and Mac. The console counterpart, Football Manager 26 Console, is also coming soon.
