Football Manager 2021 Past 1 Million Sales

The latest entry of spreadsheet game/football manager simulator Football Manager 2021 has sold 1 million copies, as of January 3rd.

That’s according to Football Manger game director Miles Jacobson’s tweet, which also reveals that it’s the fastest of the Football Manager entry to reach the 1-million sales milestone.

At some point yesterday, #FM21 became our fastest ever series of games to reach 1m copies activated.
I'm guessing you're getting value for money from it, as over 900k of you played it last week!
I hope you're finding some solace & company from the game world you escape into.

In the past week alone, the game had 900,000 players actively playing, which is pretty strong numbers.

While the 2021 entry doesn’t boast that many big features for the strategy/management game, it probably helped that the previous game, Football Manager 2020 was an Epic Games Store freebie months ago just before the reveal (and release) of Football Manager 2021.

Football Manager 2021 is out now on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and on mobile devices.
