The world can’t get enough of sandbox survival games. But what if it has a Western theme? Toplitz Productions and Virtual Magic Games are making exactly that with Wild West Dynasty.
In a new trailer unveiled during IGN’s E3 Summer Of Gaming showcase, the developers decided to show a behind-the-scenes look at how they handcraft the biomes. Wild West Dynasty’s open world isn’t procedural. It is made up of clay and plastic construction toys of a very distinct brand, which then gets turned into 3D landscapes by scanning it in.
Wild West Dynasty lets you live in the great frontier where you start by owning a ranch and slowly grow a town around it. The game has the elements of a first-person RPG, life-sim, survival and a city-builder. In fact, you can go to Free Play mode to just build a town without any other distractions.
Wild West Dynasty is part of Toplitz’s long-running Dynasty series which includes Farmer’s Dynasty, Lumberjack’s Dynasty and Medieval Dynasty (now in early access).
Wild West Dynasty will be in 2022 on PC (Steam).
